GFC water-blocking (WB) aramid yarns help prevent longitudinal water penetration in cable constructions. The impregnation process of the Super Absorbent Particles on the aramid yarns ensures an even distribution of the swellable effect as well as a dust-free application. This in combination with the mechanical properties of aramid result in a complete solution for dry cable designs.
